Account Executive (multiple positions)

Primary responsibilities:

• Introduce and promote Optimum's business and wholesale network solutions to wireless and wireline telecom, internet, application and information service providers and to large corporations;
• Along with OCS' marketing and business development leadership, create productive business partnerships between Optimum and facilities-based telecom carriers, and between Optimum and enterprise-customer focusing communications providers and network/systems integrators;
• Create and deliver presentations, white papers, case studies of Optimum's ITN solution to customers and business partners;
• Actively gather customer feedback and refine the company's service offering feature set and release plan;
• Establish customer relationships and get customer contracts signed.

Minimum requirements:

• University degree in related engineering field and/or in business;
• At least five years of work experience in the communications industry (service provider), and at least two years at a telecom carrier or an ISP/ASP, ideally at an wholesale network service provider;
• Knowledge of telecommunications and Internet infrastructure industries and of data/telecom technologies, especially of SDH/SONET and IP/MPLS;
• Experience at least in one (preferably in more than one) of the below areas:
  
  • Successfully marketing and/or selling wholesale network solutions to xLECs, xSPs etc.;
  • Successfully marketing and/or selling broadband business communications solutions to enterprises;
  • Evaluating and deploying new technologies and services at carrier networks;
  • Successfully marketing and/or selling advanced communications systems to communications service providers.
